Yoga Therapist, RYT 200, Reiki Master, Sound Healing Practitioner
Lydia was first introduced to yoga through a vinyasa flow class at the age of 12. Over the years, she developed a deep passion for practicing a variety of yoga styles and discovered that teaching was the next natural step in her journey.
In 2022 and 2023, Lydia completed her 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training, along with certifications in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Aerial Yoga with Andrea Gleason and Robin Ivy Payton through Maine Yogafest School of Yoga. She further expanded her knowledge by completing Trauma-Sensitive Yoga training with Mindy Muse in the spring of 2023.
Lydia completed her Level 1 Sound Practitioner Training and Level 2 Mentorship with Kimber Lucier in 2023. She incorporates tongue drum, crystal singing bowls, metal bowls, and other sound healing instruments into both group classes and private sessions. Her holistic training also includes Reiki I and II attunements with Kristine Keegan in 2023 and 2024, followed by Reiki Master Practitioner certification in June 2026.
In 2025, Lydia graduated from the Breathing Deeply School of Yoga Therapy as a Yoga Therapist. She offers individualized yoga therapy sessions both in person and virtually, supporting clients living with chronic pain, chronic illness, and mental health challenges.
Inspired by her own experience navigating chronic illness and the profound role yoga played in her healing journey, Lydia offers practices that are gentle, supportive, and rooted in whole-person well-being. Her approach combines movement, breathwork, mindfulness, sound healing, and therapeutic yoga techniques to help students cultivate resilience, self-awareness, and a deeper sense of ease in their bodies and lives.
