Nan Ball

Nancy (Nan) Ball is a retired MD/physiatrist, who completed yoga teacher training in 2008 and has
integrated daily yoga concepts and practices into her medical practice with Maine Neurosurgery and spine as a non-surgical spine specialist until her retirement in 2024. She has sought out additional training with Judith and Lizzie Lasater (the origins of Restorative Yoga) Donna Farhi ( the Author of Pathways to a Centered Body and other well respected yoga training books), and others.
Nan is currently enrolled in a 500-hour YTT program and is passionate about using the tools of
therapeutic yoga/a yoga therapy approach in addressing the challenges of the aging body, and any physical body that is slowed by a neurologic and/or orthopedic challenge.
