Yoga Nidra is a practice of rest, a restorative meditation experience and a state of awareness. Yoga nidra may increase feelings of well being and can be practiced to help relieve stress, encourage calm mind, increase resilience and ability to cope during challenging times. Intuition, creativity, and clarity may expand through the practice, while clutter, overwhelm and negativity diminish.

In this training, explore how and why yoga nidra works. Learn to sequence, compose, and offer yoga nidra with intention setting at the heart of the practice. Step into a lifelong journey of acknowledging and tending to all the layers of your self.

Anyone with personal interest is invited to join. Understanding yoga nidra may be useful for yoga teachers, medical professionals, therapists, and parents, among others.

For yoga teacher certification and full credit hours, you will complete a written or recorded yoga nidra and submit it by January 31st, 2027.

Yoga Alliance members receive 18 continuing education credits for recertification upon completion of contact and non contact hours.

From a 2024 graduate

"Since my Yoga Nidra training 2 years ago I have found a significant strength and resilience within myself.

Personally, learning about and cultivating an inner resource has proven to provide limitless support and strength.

Exploration of opposites helps me to accept the things I cannot change.

I use body mapping at night when I struggle to find rest.I have been able to offer monthly classes for our community and intend to offer more in the future.

Robin’s teaching was thorough and complete. I felt ready to take on my own classes at the end of her training. Robin continues to be supportive of my teaching even years after I completed her training." Rebecca Ewald
