Joynt Yoga for Pain & Joint Relief
with Elaina Wagner (sub for Lydia Libby)

September 4 (Wednesday)
at 6:30 pm

Class length
70 minutes

Find the joy in yoga with Joynt Yoga! Experience postures that aid in improving joint mobility, releasing tightly bound fascia and decreasing muscular tension. Lydia also incorporates optional assists with tuning forks that can be placed on the body to produce a vibrational resonance to bring the nervous system back into balance. In this 60-minute class you can expect to move at a fairly slow pace and props are encouraged! Lydia ends this class with a blissful savasana with a sound bath.

Lydia was first introduced to yoga through a vinyasa flow class when she was 12 years old. Over the years she knew she had a passion for practicing a variety of yoga styles such as vinyasa, yin, aerial and restorative and that teaching seemed to be the next natural step.

Lydia completed her Restorative Yoga and her Yin Yoga certifications with Robin Ivy Payton and Andrea Gleason, Maine Yogafest School of Yoga & completed her 200 Hour Vinyasa and Aerial yoga teacher trainings at the Maine Yoga Fest School of Yoga, followed by Trauma Sensitive Yoga training with Mindy Muse in the spring of 2023. In the fall of 2023, Lydia completed her Yoga Nidra certification with Robin Ivy Payton through the Southern Maine Yoga School.

Lydia participated in Level 1 Sound Practitioner training & Level 2 mentorship with Kimber Lucier. She uses tongue drum, crystal and metal bowls and other sound instruments in classes and one on one sessions. In 2023, Lydia made a career change and now works in a wellness and health environment full time.

Join Lydia for practices that are gentle, supported and grounded in your overall well being.
