Spring is here, and the greening has come. Bulbs are poking up. Weeds are very happy. So much to do out there! When we garden, we connect with nature, create beauty, and host many birds, bees and butterflies. We also challenge our bodies in ways that we often don’t notice until….later.

We bend forward to plant or pull, twist to get a tool from behind us, balance on uneven ground, lift and carry heavy loads, dig to prepare the soil, push the wheelbarrow around, maneuver hoses and sprinklers. And often, when we end the day’s gardening, we are exhausted and regret that we didn’t ‘finish’. What if, as we create more natural bounty outdoors, we create a more healthy body and ease our mind?

In this workshop, practice health-giving yoga for gardening. Through well-aligned poses, meditation, breathing and  journaling, learn how to cultivate natural beauty with greater ease and joy.

This workshop is open to adults with all levels of yoga and gardening experience.
