Join Andrea for a gentle take it to the mat Yin practice. Slow down and get into your body.  Yin Yoga in contrast to the more active practices, has fewer postures held for longer time. 

By holding these postures in a relaxed state you’ll exercise the non-elastic tissues in your body. In other words your joints, ligaments, connective tissues and fascia. Using props to allow you to find your edge of resistance, you will target those cooler components of your body as well as cultivate mindfulness, stimulate the flow of energy in your body and relax your spirit.

Yin Yoga helps to:

Bring balance to the mind and body
Regulate energy in the body
Increase mobility in the body, especially the joints and hips
Lower stress levels (Phew!)
Encourages greater stamina
Enhances lubrication and protection of joints
Boost your immune system

This class is appropriate for all levels.
