Start Your Day At The Beach!  This class is held in person at Pine Point Beach in Scarborough. This class will be a gentle movement flow that is slower paced with plenty of options, so you make the practice yours.
  • It will be held near the entrance of the beach located at the town parking lot on Avenue 5 in Scarborough (Google Maps)
  • The class is weather AND tide dependent. If anything changes you will be notified via e-mail so please check your e-mail before departing for the class!
  • The class is held outdoors directly on the sand of the beach - so please bring appropriate layers and clothing, and expect to get sand on your mat, props, etc.
  • Due to it being held on the beach you are encouraged to take the class slow and steady as the beach sand provides both opportunity to experience shapes in a new way - and may invite some additional challenge too!
  • As always the time you spend on the mat is for you to take what you need out of the practice. Sometimes that looks like sitting on the mat, closing your eyes, and listening to the waves. Whatever you need - you choose!

    IMPORTANT PARKING NOTE: The Town of Scarborough charges a fee for parking in the public lot unless you have a parking permit from the town. Please be aware that you may be responsible for paying for parking if using the public lot either on your way in or on your way out.

For this Slow Flow Yoga class we will have limited props available but no mats. If there is anything specific that you like to have, please consider bringing it! We encourage the use of props to help support the physical body while experiencing the shape that is being offered. They are certainly not required but recommended to help you explore the practice in different ways.
